Enhanced iOS Experience: ChatGPT Now Integrates Bing for Added Functionality

Users of ChatGPT Plus on iOS now have access to the most recent information from the web via Microsoft’s Bing search engine thanks to a new feature from OpenAI.

The enormous investment Microsoft made in OpenAI to enable this integration. During Microsoft’s Build conference in May, Bing replaced Google as ChatGPT’s default search engine. The feature is currently available to $20 monthly ChatGPT Plus users.

It enables ChatGPT to respond to inquiries about current events and topics with the most up-to-date information that is currently accessible online. Users looking for real-time information will find this feature especially helpful.

Users must go to the settings, enable the “Browsing” option under the “New Features” section, choose GPT-4 from the model switcher, and then select “Browse with Bing” from the dropdown menu to enable web browsing with Bing on the ChatGPT app for iOS.

It’s important to note that the ChatGPT app for iOS now has this capability, and an Android version of the app is anticipated to appear soon. With these new features added, ChatGPT Plus becomes a more useful resource for those looking for up-to-date information.
